Over the past 14 years I have been providing virtual administrative services for Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists in both solo and group practices.  This includes communicating with clients by email, phone and text on a wide range of subjects from initial inquiries to questions about billing.  By mindfully interacting with clients, I strive to help each practice build a trusting community of care.

 

The services I provide include proficiency with a variety of software including Jane and OWL as well as work in Google Drive and Microsoft Office.  Daily processing of payments, and an understanding of direct billing and third party billing is also an essential part of helping my clients run their practices with ease.

 

​For group practices, the onboarding of new clinicians and day to day communication throughout the practice help each team member feel connected and up to date with the ebb and flow of weekly work.

​Confidentiality towards my clients is an essential part of my business practice. This includes the minute details of client communication and care, financial information as well how I speak about my work to others in my various communities. All work related documentation is stored in a locked filing cabinet when not in use in my office.

 

​I have learned to cultivate a growth mindset which, when combined with collaboration and creativity, makes long term working relationships with clients a joy.  Working with gifted practitioners is a privilege that keeps me striving for excellence.

When I'm not in my home office, there's nothing I love more than a walk in the woods and time spent in nature. I enjoy walking and hiking the conservation areas near me and love to be by the water. Living near the ocean would a dream come true.

 

Creating beauty around me is a lifelong practice that brings joy to my heart. This includes working in my garden, where even weeding can bring me a sense of purpose and hope, and also includes needlework, sewing and baking. Time spent with my beautiful children is a delight. I love to see how they are growing and changing the communities around them one day at a time. I think the world of them.

 

My faith grounds me. It informs all my decisions and is the foundation for my integrity in life and work.​
